(SOLD) Huge Edmontosaurus Toe Digit
This large toe bone comes from the hadrosaur, Edmontosaurus. Edmontosaurus was a huge herbivore, with adults reaching lengths of over 40 feet long. This Edmontosaurus toe bone was found in two pieces. A small piece of the distal end was reattached and the fossil was stabilized. The Edmontosaurus toe digit has great detail and preservation with dark-brown coloration. All around, this is an amazing example of one huge Edmontosaurus toe bone.
This toe bone was dug out of a microsite in the hell creek formation of Carter County, Montana. The fossil was collected on private ranch land with the owner's permission.
